Dr. Vivekanand S. Rege has served the people of Mumbai since 1982, delivering more than four decades of continuous oral and dental care from his Mahim clinic. His practice is built on intensive diagnosis, comprehensive treatment planning and a calm, gentle chairside approach that puts patients completely at ease.

With international training and recognition, he has worked in close association with Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel (one of the world’s premier cancer institutes) since his graduation, and has pioneered a signature “surgery without anaesthesia” technique. His soothing, friendly manner means patients share every concern openly, knowing they will be heard and cared for.

An Anti-Tobacco Crusader & Oral Cancer Advocate

Dr. Rege has crusaded against tobacco since the age of six, and has long worked alongside India’s leading cancer institutions on this cause. He founded the OCAPS (Oral Cancer Awareness Prevention Screening Program), a practical screening initiative that catches oral cancers at their pre-malignant stage through simple oral checks done at home, the office or community camps. He also created an easy-to-use Oral Health Guide and scale so anyone, anywhere, can screen themselves.
